July 5-11, 2017 Northern Italy

The participation in the international youth baseball tournament at Castions Delle Mura was the 2nd trip in a year for the Ghajnsielem Redcoats. In July 2016, the youth softball team travelled to Heerhugowaard in North Holland for a joint softball training camp with BC The Herons. Just like they did last year, the Redcoats managed to combine sport with a very pleasant holiday during the trip to Northern Italy.

Excursions to Venice, Udine, Trieste, Bergamo and the Palmanova Outlet Village, as well as evening walks in Gorizia where the team was based, made the trip one to remember. However, the day in Aqualandia along with another day in Gardaland and Sea Life were the highlights for the entire group. The boys and girls will certainly cherish the memories of this trip for the rest of their life.

The coaches would like to thank the parents for their continuing support and their contribution to make this trip a memorable one.

The Redcoats are now busy planning the next trip which is a softball training camp in Prague with the U17 softball team of SK Joudurs Praha, currently one of the strongest softball clubs in Europe. The players, coaches and parents will depart on July 29 and return on August 5. Good luck to our girls!
